Keep Odessa Beautiful and ALON - are joining forces to beautify the Odessa Recycle Center. Thanks to the ALON's reduced emission program, Strive Program 15 Crepe Myrtle Trees were planted in October of 2018.
Help from Other Departments
Parks and Recreation Department has provided an irrigation system for the trees. Solid Waste Division will maintain the trees.
About the Recycling Center
The Odessa Recycle Center, formerly known as the Time Machine, was built in 1989 to provide residents an opportunity to recycle paper, plastic, cardboard and aluminum in an effort to reduce waste, pollution, and energy usage.
The center is used to educate our community on recycling, composting, waste reduction, and beautification.
